Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a country girl from Laurel/Biloxi Mississippi. I came from humble beginnings and understand the value of hard work. I came to Atlanta by way of Tuskegee University (TU). I am married with a daughter and we reside in the suburbs of Atlanta.

What are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about learning and helping others to achieve goals they might not have any idea how to reach.  I am also very passionate about supporting my fellow mankind and deeply rooted in reconnecting “the sisterhood”.

Who do you admire the most and why?

I admire my mother the most, because she has truly put her all into giving me the tools to succeed in motherhood and overcome life’s obstacles. She has ingrained her favorite passage in me — “This, too, shall pass”.

What drew you to Purpose In Pumps?

The positive energy of connecting with like-minded women and helping each other in our journey of this adventure called life is what drew me to this organization.

What was the last book you read and the lesson(s) it taught you?

I am currently rereading “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. The lesson it is teaching me is to be in the right now — not tomorrow, not next month, not next year. This helps with my pure existence of having peace.

What is your purpose?

What I know for sure is that my life has positioned me for my purpose, which is to teach, train and connect those who have a mustard seed of hope and want ultimate happiness while they live.

What is your life mantra?

Think it, Believe it, and Make it Happen!
