Lately I’ve been educating myself on the “Law of Attraction”. This concept denotes that we attract whatever we think about, whether good or bad. That’s pretty powerful if you really sit and think about it. A single thought can actually control the outcome of the manifestation of your dreams. This sounds simple, but is an intricate theory to achieve! This is because while going through the process, it’s sometimes difficult to think “positive” when being faced with rejection, opposition and naysayers. The endless obstacles that arise can make anyone want to tap out.
After being called to the carpet by my twin sister about my negative attitude as of late, I have been objectively thinking about the thoughts that I have often muttered into the universe. And while I continue to pursue my goals with passion and fervor, I now recognize that sometimes my thought process does not align with my purpose and ultimately where I want to be. This is because I occasionally focus too much on where I want to go that I don’t take the time to appreciate how far I’ve come. I now realize that I make excuses as to why I don’t always project “positivity”. I realize that this is unacceptable and so I’ve had to seriously check myself. I now hold myself accountable for my own happiness and I understand that it begins with my perception.
Do not excuse your negative attitude because you keep running into roadblocks. You are right where you need to be in the process. With persistence, you will continue to move in the right direction just by changing your mindset. It is vital to eliminate negative thinking in regards to your relationships, health, finances and career goals to move forward.
The adversity you encounter on your purpose path will strengthen you – and your positive outlook will light the way to infinite opportunities.
