It is known that it takes approximately 21 days to form a habit. For the month of January we want you to listen.
Listen to others by not being too quick to judge their situation. Have empathy and try to offer a reasonable solution – only if they ask. Sometimes all people want is a listening ear and so try not to complicate things by offering advice where it might not be welcomed.
Listen to your heart by not allowing yourself to be put into situations that might create discomfort, worry or stress. It is okay to say “no” from time to time.
Listen to your body when it starts to scream that something isn’t quite right. Make a habit of getting routine checkups and don’t be afraid to share your concerns with your doctor. When you feel tired, rest. Nothing is more pressing than your health so organize your day to incorporate 6 to 8 hours of sleep each night. If you can steal a midday nap, good for you!
