To Produce or Not To Produce

What do you want to do with your life? No, seriously. How will you leave your mark on this world? What will YOUR legacy be?

Now, ask yourself this question: Are you producing on the level that it takes?

If the answer is “no” then YOU could be the only thing stopping you from walking down the path of profusion!

Recently I had to check myself. What does that mean, you ask? Allow me to explain. I recently analyzed my short-term goals for the month of January. They weren’t impossible goals to achieve but yet and still they remained unscathed. The minimal effort I put in proved to be futile. I immediately became despondent about life and sought to blame everything that got in my way of achieving my goals as of late. I wallowed in pity for about 10 minutes and then suddenly a voice (my God conscience), spoke to me. With a disturbed disposition the voice asked a question that forced me to assess my actions. The voice bellowed out: Have you been producing on the level that it takes?

In all honesty, this question paralyzed me. I truly began to think about the minimal effort I have put towards achieving these goals and how I have allowed frivolous tasks to get in the way of doing what I love. I was the only one to blame for my lack of progress. I had to accept that I have played a role in sabotaging my success. I have not been producing on the level that it takes and its time I acknowledged this.

There is an old adage that goes people make time for what really matters. This moral maxim definitely applies to discovering your purpose. How will you reveal what is inside if no effort is exercised towards your purpose? The execution of passionate production will yield prosperity. PASSIVITY PROPAGATES PERFORMANCE!!

Each extra minute in the day you have should be used to build your brand and enhance your existence. This is about you and what you were put here to do. Who you were put here to help. Someone, somewhere is waiting on you to magnify your efforts to aid them in life.

So the next time you find yourself consumed by distractions that are getting in the way of you reaching your purpose, CHECK YOURSELF! After all success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out (Robert Collier).
